Black Canyon Archers

Black Canyon Archers, based in Delta, Colorado on the Western Slope, is affiliated with the Archery Shooters Association and runs as a volunteer 3D club, which means its course is built around foam-animal targets set at unmarked yardages to train the kind of distance judgment bowhunters need in the field. That ASA affiliation ties the club into a broader competitive circuit rather than a purely informal shooting group. John Boyer is listed as a point of contact, worth reaching out to for anyone wanting to know about shoot dates, membership dues, or whether guests can shoot before joining. Western Colorado's mule deer and elk seasons make 3D practice especially relevant here.
