Backwoods Sportsmen

Backwoods Sportsmen runs as a volunteer-based, ASA-affiliated 3D archery club out of El Dorado Springs, in southwest Missouri not far from the Kansas line. The ASA affiliation means the course is built for foam-target 3D shooting, the discipline most bowhunters use to sharpen distance judgment before deer season, and the volunteer structure means the range exists because members show up and maintain it themselves rather than because a company runs it for profit. That setup tends to reward regulars who put in the work with a course that keeps evolving year over year. Southwest Missouri archers interested in 3D shooting should reach out to Backwoods Sportsmen directly to ask about membership and the current shoot schedule.
