James A. Reed Wildlife Area

James A. Reed Wildlife Area in Lee's Summit, just southeast of Kansas City, includes a public archery range as part of a larger state-managed conservation property, the kind of setup where shooting sports share space with hunting and wildlife habitat rather than standing alone as a dedicated facility. No specifics are confirmed here on lane count or current hours, which is common for ranges managed as one feature of a much bigger property. Archers planning a visit should check with the Missouri Department of Conservation for current access and rules.
