About archery in Montreal

Montreal's four archery clubs cover terrain few Canadian cities match. Club de Tir a l'Arc de Montreal (CTAM), established in 1974 at Centre Sportif Claude Robillard, is the only Montreal club running lanes from 5 to 70 metres; drop-in is $15. Kyudo Quebec, founded in 1991 on Sherbrooke Street East, teaches traditional Japanese archery as a meditative martial art and is the only Kyudo club in the province. Sports de Combats in the Mile End runs a pro shop and 40-yard range for combat and target archery. Club Trois-Plumes has met at Ecole Daniel Johnson since 1984, and Les Archers du Sud-Ouest includes the province's top barebow shooters.
